Middle River, with its more than 173 miles of wooded shoreline and waterfront homes, is central to one of the most popular boating areas on the Upper Bay. Sunset Harbor customers enjoy its clean waters and natural setting along with easy access to such destinations as Havre De Grace, the C&D Canal, Tolchester, Rock Hall, Kent Island, Baltimore Inner Harbor and Annapolis. Hart-Miller Island, a popular area destination accessible only by boat, is just a short 20 minute ride away. Operated by the Maryland Park Service, the island park offers a large, sheltered anchorage, sandy beach, picnic tables, grills, campsites and restrooms.

Easily accessible by car or boat from all Baltimore Metropolitan areas and surrounding counties, Sunset Harbor is located just 6 miles from the intersection of I-95 and I-695. The marina serves as a popular home port for boaters from southern Pennsylvania and Delaware as well as from all around Maryland.
